What is a ‘weekend wedding retreat’?
The concept is to find a relaxing place to slow down the wedding process and enjoy close friends and family in an amazing estate home. Not only are the houses and bridal suite astonishing, but also the grounds and gardens are breathtaking. A private pool and nearly 14 acres afford you the opportunity to really step away from everything. Whether you are enjoying a bonfire with your closest friends, taking advantage of the grounds for some unparalleled photos, having an intimate first look, or creating a perfect moment, Brookmill will offer an experience you won’t forget.
What time can the visitors stay until?
Guests are welcome to continue to enjoy the property until 10:30pm. You and other guests staying are welcome to enjoy the property for the length of your stay. We ask that you head inside by 12am.
What can we do on the grounds?
When booking for a wedding the property is yours for the weekend inclusive of ceremony and reception. The grounds offer the perfect setting for getting ready and formal photos with your wedding party and immediate families.
Besides the relaxed nature, we find that our guests fall in love with the backdrops Brookmill offers. Whether you are shooting a first look, taking group photos, or enjoying intimate corners, you will want to be sure to capture some of your memories.
What do we have access to when we rent for an extended stay?
You will have complete and exclusive access to the ENTIRE property and its structures including both houses (capable of sleeping 16guests) and the mill house.
How can we set up a tour?
We are a boutique private estate and request that you always call ahead and confirm a meeting. We require a phone meeting where we can discuss details of your events. We can generally tour Monday-Thursday except off season, and always by appointment only. Please do not enter our property without an appointment as we want to respect the privacy of other guests.
